British Legion jumble sale in Parish Hall

The Handcross and District British Legion held a jumble sale in the Parish Hall to raise funds for the branch.. They also made a donation to the village hall fund.
It seems that a star attraction was a 19” black and white television which took some time to be sold for £5.00.
Having a good rummage are, from the left, Albert Copson, Mrs Linda Turner, Mrs Nora Ray, and Mrs Cath Chamberlain.
