Fred and Lilian Beet golden wedding

In early 1989 the local newspaper broadcast the news that Fred Beet (1910-1991) and his wife, Lilian (1911-2001), had celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
They had met initially while both were working at Slaugham Park and after they married they lived in Slaugham village. Later they moved to West Park Farm in Coos Lane, Handcross and then to West Park Road.
Their daughter, Rosemary, briefly described their life at West Park Farm at picture #668.
