Scheme to counter vandalism in Handcross (4 of 5)

In an effort to combat vandalism in the community various bodies contributed generous sums to provide facilities for the older children in the Parish.
However, with the works partially completed, wanton vandalism of a lorry being used to construct the play area was damaged.
The picture shows the presentation of a cheque from the Sussex Police Authority.
From the left they are: Norman Wrigglesworth (clerk to parish council), Peter Green (Fun Day committee), Richard Buckingham (community beat officer), Peter Howlett (chairman parish council), David Pearce (parish councillor), Chris Rotheray (Fun Day committee).
