Fireman victim of Vanguard accident

I am Richard H. Knee, (77) son of Henry Knee and Lilian (Packman) Knee. Mom talked of her Dad (my grandfather) being a fireman and dying in a truck accident when she was a little girl. He was Edward Dan Packman, pictured above.
The 1901 census shows him living at The Library, St Mary Cray. He is 33 and the census shows that he was born in St Mary Cray. He was a basket maker. Living with him are his wife Lavinia Packman (nee Trist) and his children Lilian 2 and Ivy 9months.
My grandfather died in the Vanguard accident in 1906.

Comments:
Richard, I trust you have already found all the other documents relating to this horrific crash. They can be found by selecting the text under "This picture is in the following groups" above.
In particular I am thinking of the “In Memoriam” card at picture #865 where your grandfather is named.
