Men's stoolball game in fancy dress

Taken sometime in the 1930s, the picture is of a comedy stoolball match with a men’s team dressed in women’s clothing. I had assumed that the match shown in picture #1811 was probably a unique occurrence, but obviously not!
In the back row are two of my uncles. From the left, second is Leslie “Dick” Brown, and third is Frank Brown.
One of the “ladies” is holding a stoolball bat.
