Anne, Countess of Rosse, and Oliver Messel

The press capture a photograph of Anne, Countess of Rosse, with her famous brother, Oliver Messel, who had just arrived from working on the scenery and dresses in a Hollywood film. She often referred to him as “Darling Angel Oliver”.
Anne’s marriage to Ronald Armstrong-Jones had been dissolved in 1934 after 10 years together, and she had married Laurence Parsons, 6th Earl of Rosse, in 1935.
