Handcross Band playing carols in the High StreetIn the lead up to Christmas, keen members of Handcross Band braved the cold and played carols in the Handcross High Street; in this photograph outside the newsagent’s shop of Roger Ray.
From the left they are Mrs Vi Johnson, Reg Skeats, Unknown, Stan Gasson, Johnny Taylor (Burgess Hill), Edie Bird, and “Erbie”.
The Large Version shows a poster promoting the concert at St Wilfreds School, Crawley. See picture #1251.
